CEO & Founder

As an experienced advisor with a diverse career path, Cathleen brings a unique perspective to all her clients. She began her career in consulting and then expanded into investments at GSO Capital Partners (now Blackstone Credit), a distressed debt fund in New York City. After returning to Dallas to pursue her MBA at SMU, Cathleen began working with ultra-high net worth families at JPMorgan’s Private Bank. She then opened and led the Dallas office for Matter Family Office, a multi-family office, where she worked with multi-generational families for over 5 years. 

Driven by her personal experience managing the complexities of families and family wealth, both with her own family and her clients, Cathleen founded Orchid Advisory in 2023 to empower families with the knowledge and support they need to secure lasting financial success. 

Cathleen was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She attended The Hockaday School before leaving Texas for Wake Forest University. She ultimately returned home to attend Southern Methodist University’s MBA program with a double concentration in Finance and Accounting.
